This is Heather from Faithful Froggers. I received an e-mail from Sarah tonight . . . apparently Kentucky was hit pretty hard by Hurricane Ike - blasting through with 75mph winds! Sarah hasn't had any power for 3 days now . . . which means no internet and that is why there hasn't been an update yet about Favorite Foto Friday. She asked me to post here to let you all know that the theme this week is . . . HOPE! Just post a picture that you think symbolizes hope.
Sarah, we miss you and hope your power is up and running soon! Thinking of you and your beautiful family. Hope those lanterns & flashlights last. :) Know that we are praying for you and all who were affected by Ike!

Praying you get your power restored soon enough! I hate losing power, but it really makes me think of how in the world did people ever live with the things we have, power, tv, computers, internet, vehicles..LOL....Lots of prayers your way..Love, Marci

We haven't stopped thinking about you! I sure hope your power is restored ASAP! We know all to well here if Fl. what it is like to be without power due to Hurricanes. OH...the things we take for granted. If your like me you have gone to one of our modern conveniences in your home that is run by electricity and forgot it "does not" work since there is no electricity...and then thinking my goodness how we take theses things for granted.

Thanks Heather and my blogger friends!! You quickly forget how easy it is to take for granted the conveniences we are used to in our everyday lives! We are looking forward to having power restored but they are saying it could be another week or more before we are back up and running.
I will try to get FFF and Mr. Linky working so that you all can enjoy FFF and will be back as soon as I can! I miss everybody! It is really strange to not have access to all my friends!

Hope you get your power back soon!! We lived without it for almost four weeks after Katrina, but were lucky enough to be bale to go to my mom's for Gustav. Our lights were out for 13 days for that one!! Only four for Ike!! So this Louisiana girl is feelin' ya about wanting the power back!!
Hey Sarah, I still have no power too and mine went out Sunday and it is now Thursday! I have internet at work, thank goodness as of today. I have been busy, as I am in the Insurance business. fun fun. I thought about you and that new front porch of yours and hoped everything was ok your way.
Hope "we" get power soon.
