Favorite Foto Friday #92 - MEMORIES & HAPPY BD MORGAN!

A little twist on FFF this week! And coincidentally, this being FFF #92, Morgan was born May 28, 1992!

Today, my baby girl turned 17 years old! It truly seems like yesterday that I first held her in my arms... after 24 hours of labor and an emergency c-section. She was truly worth every second! My dream came true when I became a mom... and she is the one who first made me one. I guess being the guinea pig paid off... she is the most self confident, smart, beautiful daughter that I could ever ask for and I am so proud of her! She leaves next week for a month in Argentina as part of her school's international exchange program. I am nervous yet so excited for her!!

Thought I would share a little trip down memory lane...

Truly... a newborn smiling and doing the hula... not to mention her mohawk and KY jelly stuck bow!

She made my dream of becoming a mom come true!

Started breaking young men's hearts early...

Became a big sister...

Would not be alive if it weren't for pasta!!

Was her daddy's sport...

Loves her animals...

Sassiness and all!

Became a big sister again...

And today, has turned into a beautiful young woman... everything a mother could ever dream of! These were taken tonight...

Wacky Wednesday

OK... very late in the day but still Wednesday by my book! Sophie and I played in the front yard on Sunday and she was a scream! She was dancing to her music and running around having a great time! Her little friend Natalia was just arriving for our playdate. I was snapping some pictures and had no idea that I captured her in the act of looking like a head banger rock star! She is one wacky, fabulous, fun kid! I just love her!

Favorite Foto Friday #91

This week, my favorite picture is this one of my Tiny Dancer that you already saw below. I am so in love with the confidence and joy on her face while she is on stage! She was so excited about her first dance recital and it is reflected in her precious face! My little Bug is typically so shy and prefers to stay very near mommy. To watch her walk off with her class with her teacher and then show up on stage with this smile... makes my heart sing for her!

And since I already used this picture this week, here is a bonus... of Bug monkeying around at the park this week. The weather has finally turned GORGEOUS outside and we have enjoyed many fun hours playing outside! So happy to get rid of cold weather clothes, her cast and our umbrellas!

Remembering Maria...

Maria Sue Chapman

Remembering this precious little girl and saying many prayers for her big brother, Will, as his journey to healing has only just begun. Many prayers for the Chapman family today as it is the one year anniversary of their tiny little princess going home to be with God and all the angels.

Tiny Dancer!

This past weekend was Sophie's first dance recital! It was so darn cute! Her group tap danced to "Mama's Little Baby Got Shortnin' Bread"! I was so shocked that she got up there and actually did the routine and sang the song. Not as emphatically as a couple other little girls, but I thought she was the cutest Bug on stage!

Look at that smile! So proud of herself!

You know my girl had to wear her red ribbon in her hair instead of around her neck!

Mommy and her Tiny Dancer

She was so proud of her curly hair (LOL!)
I had actually used the curling iron to make some pretty impressive curls, but within an hour, her beautiful silky hair let them fall out except for the beautiful soft curls by her face.

The girls...

And with her Godmother, Auntie Susan

I am so proud of my girl! She is so tiny and shy and I was so proud of her to love her dance class and really blossom!

Favorite Foto Friday #90 - BLOOPER!

Sorry... having blogger issues and can't post a picture of my favorite blooper. I will post in the morning if it starts to work.

Sorry so late! Woke up late and just got home from work! Here are bloopers from our attempt at a family photo session Mothers Day weekend... I swear! It is torture to get everybody to look the same way at the same time and keep their eyes open! LOL! Not to mention being in a parking lot with the sun in our eyes! Thought we could at least grab a quick picture of the four of us together...

Oops... Grant has his eyes closed..
Now, Bug's turn...
Back to Grant and Bug's squinting...
Everybody about done with it...
The best we could do after playing hard and posing in the parking lot of the pizza place...

Here is Mr. Linky!

No theme for next week... let's just post your favorite foto of the week!

Sophie's Four Year Pics

No clever theme this week... just in a blogging funk, I guess. I haven't had much to say lately and have wanted to keep this blog as a journal for the kids and haven't been doing so well on that either.

But, on the bright side of things, Sophie got her 4 year pictures taken and they turned out pretty good, not stellar... I am so picky about pictures now. But, we did manage to squeeze in our first Mother Daughter pictures ever... what do you think?

We will be having another photo session next month in Florida with our precious Daniel and his family... I hope those turn out great! I am also looking into somebody to do Morgan's SENIOR pictures this summer. I have an idea of exactly what I want, but the people I would love to photograph her live too far away! :-(

On the not so happy side... so many people that are going through so much and maybe that is what has me down. I am not going to list them here as I don't want to forget anybody and leave them out. Just know that my heart is heavy and I am fervently praying for them.
