I want to tell you a little about my friends... they are so much more than that... many of them have become my FAMILY and I am so amazed at how God has put them in my life and brought them closer to me and my kids than my blood family!
For today's post, I want to focus on the one lady who has really been my rock, my soul sister... my best friend. She has been there through thick and thin (literally)...
This is Susan

I honestly do not know what I would have done over the past ten years without her. She and her family welcomed my little family with open arms and have invited us on family vacations, holiday meals, and everything in between. I always dreamed of having a sister (I have three brothers)... and God brought her to me at just the perfect time.
She has a wonderful husband, Mike, and five of the most precious kids this side of the world!

She is the first person I call when I am feeling low and the first person I call to celebrate the big stuff. But, the best thing is... she is there for all the little stuff every single day. She has the patience of Job and parents her children with grace and respect and her children are compassionate, loving and respectful and have the most awesome mother and role model a kid could ask for.
Susan is the one who will always tell me the truth, good or bad... sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't. But, she never judges me and always supports me and I can go to her for advice any time of the day or night. We often like to joke that we are long lost sisters and someday our parents will tell us the truth!
I chose her and her husband, Mike, to be Sophie's Godparents and cannot imagine a more loving family to care for my baby if something were to ever happen to me... they love my little Bug as much as they do their own and were there every step of the way during her adoption process.

Sophie has adored her Auntie Susan from day one!!

I could write a book on how much my best friend, Susan, means to me... but I won't for FFF. She already knows that God put us together for a reason and for a lifetime... we have had so many great things happen between us, big and little, that have bound us together for forever. She rarely reads this blog, but if you do, know how much I LOVE YOU, my friend!! I truly do not know what I would ever do without you!!
