Have every single light in the house on, the AC cranked, the computer buzzing, first load of two weeks worth of stinky laundry in the washer and the dishwasher going! Woohoo!! Life is GOOD!!
I am so exhausted... heading to bed... in the dark. LOL!

You poor Mommy you!!!!!! YUCK i cant imagine!!! As of yesterday 2 thousand Ohioans were without power...I dont know how you guys did it!!!!!

Welcome back!! I know the feeling of not having power!! 11day for Gustav and almost 4 WEEKS for Katrina!! I vowed next year I'm going on vacation if something like this hits again!!

That's so funny Sarah. I did exactly the same thing after 6 days without power. It was like I ran hone, turned on every light, got excited about doing the laundry, dishes, and turning on the TV. I just could not wait to use the power.

I hear you living in Florida, a couple years ago we went through a few back to back and had no power for almost 3 weeks...it was awful. Makes you appreciate electricity more than ever. Glad you are getting back to normal.
I am SO glad to hear that God was watching over your mother and decided that no doctors stupid mistake was going to make it her time to greet him! Praise him for protecting her precious life and allowing her love on you and your kids a while longer!
I will keep her in my prayers.
Praise God you have power again too. I'm SURE that is such a blessing. We almost NEVER lose power here (maybe for an hour or two at the most) so I honestly cannot relate.
