A Kentucky Blizzard!

Yep... while the rest of the country is having massive snowstorms and pictures of snowmen are being shown on countless blogs, our big snow total this week was... less than an inch! Sophie was excited though and couldn't wait to go out and touch it!

Anybody else bummed by the lack of winter? My kids would LOVE a snow day! We sure have the frigid temps, just whenever a front carrying any moisture comes through, it always hits just above or just below where we live. Bummer!

Hold up a second about "the rest of the country"...lol.
We went to the beach the last 2 days and went swimming in the ocean.
I'm not saying it was "sweating" weather but it was nice enough for one to wear their bathing suit. It would be wonderful to see an "inch" of snow here in Florida.
It would be a big treat!
I have to admit..all that were at the beach were northern's that were more than happy to be here than whereever they were from!

Love and Hugs..

We're so over winter here. We haven't had any snow but after the ice storm, I'm ready for warmth. Love the pics!

I agree. I'd like to at least have one good snow this year. I heard there's some in the forecast tonight/tomorrow, so maybe it will come through for us. :)

Okay - you can't complain about a dusting of snow to us Floridians! :) We never get ANY!! And trust me - my guys would LOVE to have a snow day. Snow is like gold to them. But as for me . . . I like a winter vacation - but love coming home to the sunshine.

Sophie looks like she was having a ball and is beautiful as always! Enjoy all that white stuff for us, too!

ahh I'll trade you for a dusting of snow for this crazy SouthEast Texas weather!! One minute your in shorts, the next minute your covered up to your neck! Currently the weather has warmed up to a balmy 73 degrees the temps this past weekend were in the high 30's! GO FIGURE!!! Poofy hair one day and the next day its like the FROZEN CHOSEN!!! Auggh can't wait to HURRICANE SEASON, nothing like pictures of the family holding on to anything solid and grounded (LOL)! I guess it all goes w/the territory!!

PS Sophie is too cute in those boots!
