Tonight, Sophie got to play her version of what she called "baseball" with a golf club, golf ball and tee... she had so much fun figuring it all out without anybody telling her what to do. I enjoyed watching her creativity with them!
And... something new... as recommended by many FFF'ers, I will post the theme for next week's FFF each Friday. That way, you will have a whole week to find or create that perfect picture. I am also open to ideas of future themes, just leave them with your comments!! So... NEXT week's FFF theme will be "Mommy and Me" in honor of Mother's Day weekend! Come on everybody... let's see those beautiful children with their mommies!
Lastly... it is Derby Week in Kentucky! The first Saturday in May will behold the greatest two minutes in sports! It will also be a 3rd Birthday for a very special little Bug. I will update this weekend with pictures of my birthday girl!

Happy Friday Sarah! Being on the west coast has its advantages I guess but i like getting the next FFF a week early to work on (Thursday night is LOST night here LOL). Happy early birthday to Sophie (she looks so focused in her pictures!) and big hugs to you! My FFF will post at midnight. :)

I know I say this every week - but Sophie is just the most beautiful little "Bug" in the world. It looks like she takes joy in everything she does. I was just playing Tee Ball with my "nephew" William last night and he kept saying, "Clap, Becca. Get it." I love kids - I'll pick hanging out with them rather than grown-ups any day of the week!

First off Happy Birthday Sophie, my Emmy turned 3 on the 9th. I just love having a 3 year old in the house they just light it up, in between the tears falling for how fast they are growing up and the pride in their new accomplishments.
I love the Golfing pictures, though if I let Emmy have a club she would just use it to chase Matt and club him. Then again she might just try to hit the ball at him. It is fun watching their little minds work to find solutions.

First, Happy Birthday to Sophie! She is such a beautiful little girl as well are your other children.

My name is Violet. I am 21 years old and I live in Washington State. My friend Sarah P. told me about your favorite foto friday idea which I love.
Your blog caught my eye once I came to check it out and I read back a ways. I really think God prompted me to read all of your story. It was a great encouragement to me. At 10 years old I began to dream about a little girl who looked nothing like me. That same year I started telling my mom that one day I would adopt lots of babies but, I mostly wanted to get a little girl from China. I never wanted to play wit h my little caucasian dolls, only my darker colored dolls. When I was 15 I one of my youth leaders about how I had been dreaming of a baby girl since I was 10. I had always dreamed I was having a girl. Sometimes the dreams were very vivid. She advised me to diligently pray for this little girl because God had a plan for her. I started praying for her and one month later God gave me her name. I still dream about her. At this point in time I am getting and education and waiting for Gods perfect timing but, I know in my future I will have an adoption story to tell. I am so convinced of this that when I pray for a spouse, and when anyone pursues me, we will talk about it early on, and if the person isn't 100% sure he is willing and wanting to adopt, I will know he is not the person for me.
It is fun to see you with your beautiful little girl which God told you about as a teenager.
I plan to join the FFF ranks this friday! Even though I am not a Mommy yet, I know lots of Mommies, and have plenty of mommy pictures.

Since then, another "little situation" has presented itself and my husband and I will be getting little girl #2 in September. Our Ellie Girl will be 14 months... Maybe I fell and hit my head!
