OUCH UPDATE - 48 hours later

Looking a bit better from yesterday... she is finally able to open her eye almost half way... this is what Little Bug looks like 48 hours after...

Still able to cheese it up for the camera!

She was very clingy and crabby (rightfully so) yesterday and only wanted Mommy to "hold you"... I came home from work early just to cuddle on her. Her Godparents came by last night and brought her ice cream with sprinkles and she was loving the extra attention and really perked up.

Today, she is much better but still says her cheek hurts and asking for Motrin pretty much on schedule, so it still has to hurt. It sure looks painful!

After so many thoughtful comments, I am planning on using the Mederma and Vitamin E oil to reduce the scarring... of course, I will keep you updated!

Sophia glad to see you cheesin for the camera. Ouch baby girl. Luckily little ones heal so much quicker than us. Just an FYI maderma made Lily very itchy but I do think it reduced her scar.

I laughed at the "hold you" comment because my little one always says "carry you" no matter how much we repeat "carry me".

Ouch! :( I'm glad she's feeling better. We used the vitamin oil on Aidan after his open heart surgery and his scars look amazing! Hopefully it'll work as well for your little bug.

I agree with everyone else though, boo-boo or not she's still ADORABLE!
