Wordless Wednesday!

OK... not so wordless as I have to explain... she fell out of bed last Thursday night (wriggled down past the bedrail and fell 3+ feet) and told me all weekend that her arm hurt but she was able to move it just fine and pick up light objects. She just could not use it to support her own weight when sitting or climbing. Her Dora bandaid seemed to help for most of the "pain" (she obviously has a high tolerance). Finally took her into the orthopedic on Monday and she has a Distal Radial fracture... don't worry... the mommy guilt is WAY set in!!

So, we get to enjoy this pretty lime green cast for 3 weeks! She will have it on for her 4th birthday! Poor little delicate Bug! But look at that winning smile! She is such a trooper and dedicated Dora Dance Mat dancer!

WOW! Where did the week go? Is it already Friday? I bet you are expecting WET pictures from the beach, huh? Well... surprise, a little flashback to Sophie's first trip to the beach in 2006. Look at that little watermelon bikini! Doesn't she look edible!?!

OK... and a cute one from this trip too just because she is still too cute in her itsy bitsy bikini!!!

And because many of you have been kind enough to ask about Grant since he has been obviously absent from my pictures in a while... he is doing well. He is currently away at school and we miss him ALOT in our every day lives. We talk to him often and have told him that he is missed around here too! Thank you for thinking of him!

Wacky Wednesday

Band Aid of the day...

Yes, this is where Bug decided to put her band aid, all by herself one morning of Spring Break... and she wore it there ALL DAY!!!! She even treated herself to a powdered donut before mom opened her eyes... quite the independent young lady now!

Luckily, it was one of the cloudy and gloomy days and we spent the day out of the sun. BUT... she was quite the attention grabber at the outlet mall! Everybody had to stop and ask about her boo boo, which she was quite proud of. I guess I should be proud that she put it on perfectly straight and symmetrical across her nose!! Everybody we were with just cracked up and after a while began explaining to strangers "her band aid of the day". Ha!

I know you are hanging on the side of your seat to see where the next one will show up!!! LOL!

SPRING BREAK!!

We are back home after a rather soggy but wonderful week! There has been a demand for new pics (for you "A") and I have not been the best blogger lately. Getting out of my slump now though and ready to enjoy the weather (once Spring returns to Ky - brrrr... it is cold)!

Sophie had a great time playing in the sand but had major freak outs whenever she saw a bird! A little tricky at the beach with the seagulls!! Here are some pictures of our fun times at the beach between bird panic attacks - LOL!!
