In December, I sent a package down to Dayli with pictures from our time together in November. The package inadvertently got buried under some other things but Sharon with Mayan Families finally delivered them to her this week. Today, she sent me pictures of Dayli receiving them... isn't she a beautiful child?
And look how happy she is to see the pictures of us together! I can't wait to see and hug on this beauty again!
I have reserved this Special Edition FFF in honor of SIBLINGS as I have a very special post about a very special little guy that just happens to be the biological brother of my Sophie~Bug. His name is Daniel and he is 11 months older than Sophie and just the most handsome, sweetest and tender hearted little guy. His family and ours are so blessed to know one another and have been able to get together several times with the kids over the past couple years. It has definitely been one of those unexpected blessings that have come from adoption... one I never would have imagined! Luckily, our families get along so well and of course, we think our children are just beautiful and even more so... together.
So, last week in Destin, they were able to join us for a few days at the beach and I will share a few pictures of them together as my FFF!
Cheesy smile on Bug, but Daniel sure looks gorgeous!
He was so protective of Sophie and tried to put his arm around her.
They had so much fun on the beach together.
I will leave more of the story for a later post since this is FFF!
Looking forward to your SIBLINGS FFF!! And, to not exclude any only children... don't forget about furry siblings (I consider my dogs my furbabies)!! And, as always, you never have to follow a theme... just post your FFF and leave a comment and I will link you!! FFF has grown tremendously the past couple of months and is alot of fun! I look forward to checking in with everybody every week!! Thanks for participating and leaving comments here!!
Did you know that just a placement of a Dora bandaid makes the pain in your leg/foot/toe go away? Boy, I wish I had one tenth of her tan!
I can't believe I am posting a picture of me in a swimsuit, but I just love this picture of me and my Bug!
My Island Beauties!
The big kids were very elusive this week... mostly out with their friends the bulk of the time. I can't believe that I did not get more pictures of them!
Sigh... it is hard to be home after a glorious week in that warm salty air. It is rainy and f-f-freezing back at home... come on SPRING!
We are home from Spring Break in Destin, FL! Sorry to have delayed yesterday's FFF. Thought I would quickly catch up with my favorite foto of the week in Destin of my three children. No explanation necessary, but I can tell you that Bug was very attached to mommy the entire week, including our beach photo session as evidenced here!
I promise a more detailed post as soon as I can go through the more than 600 pictures I took this week and catch up on some sleep! I will try to whittle it down to a manageable number for you soon!
Our regularly scheduled FFF will return next week with a new theme!!! I will resume linking then!!
Imagine that crackly static you hear when you try to log onto old dialup internet... yep... that's the speed we have down here in Florida when we DO have internet access. Add to that, I did not pack a camera cord to load pics on the laptop... so, please post among yourselves... FFF will be back next week!
I will post a mega post this weekend when we get home with pictures! Check back soon!! I feel so disconnected by being internet-less (is that a word?) for a whole week! But, the up side is... the weather has been terrific and we are having a great time. Good weather, good friends, good food and a few frosty beverages and all is good!
Hola amigas! No theme this week... just post your favorite of the day/week/month, etc! We leave TODAY for Spring Break, so I won't be able to link everybody until I come in from the beach and sit down in front of the computer again. I should be able to link the early birds before we go.
OFF TO THE BEACH!!! Here are my favorite pics from our trip to the same beach two years ago... look how little my babies were!
I feel this way about all 3 of my kids... Martina McBride

When Love Takes You In - Steven Curtis Chapman
Truly a miracle starts with the beat of a heart. This video truly captures how beautiful adoption is to me and I love that Steven Curtis Chapman wrote this about his daughters adopted from China.
