Band Aid of the day...

Yes, this is where Bug decided to put her band aid, all by herself one morning of Spring Break... and she wore it there ALL DAY!!!! She even treated herself to a powdered donut before mom opened her eyes... quite the independent young lady now!

Luckily, it was one of the cloudy and gloomy days and we spent the day out of the sun. BUT... she was quite the attention grabber at the outlet mall! Everybody had to stop and ask about her boo boo, which she was quite proud of. I guess I should be proud that she put it on perfectly straight and symmetrical across her nose!! Everybody we were with just cracked up and after a while began explaining to strangers "her band aid of the day". Ha!

I know you are hanging on the side of your seat to see where the next one will show up!!! LOL!

SPRING BREAK!!

We are back home after a rather soggy but wonderful week! There has been a demand for new pics (for you "A") and I have not been the best blogger lately. Getting out of my slump now though and ready to enjoy the weather (once Spring returns to Ky - brrrr... it is cold)!

Sophie had a great time playing in the sand but had major freak outs whenever she saw a bird! A little tricky at the beach with the seagulls!! Here are some pictures of our fun times at the beach between bird panic attacks - LOL!!

Happy Friday from soggy Florida! We have only had a couple days of sunshine but have still had tons of fun!! Bug LOVES the beach but is terrified of the birds!

She asked me to take these pictures and was quite the little poser!

I return to this picture often... it shows how these two really feel about each other and the whole world can see it too whenever they are together. When Grant is having a rough time, as he is now, Sophie~Bug is the only one who can look at him and wrap her tiny arms around his neck and can make it all better.

Loving Spring!!

We headed outside after "school" and just simply enjoyed the gorgeous weather - in the high 70's today. Isn't my girl beautiful?

Taking it all in... the last remnants of fall. But the grass is getting green!

Lately, all Sophie has wanted to wear are dresses... she will not wear anything else outside of the house without massive bursts of tears and I feel like a monster mommy making her dress in cute clothes that do not have any twirl factor! I remember this stage with Morgan too. Little girls just look so cute in dresses! And big bows, of course!

Another fetish is bandaids... she is always wearing at least one somewhere on her body and every day she discovers a new "boo boo" that must have a bandaid. I think I should buy stock in those magical little sticky make-it-all-better bandages. It is actually quite humorous!

We are gearing up for a week at the beach! Spring Break is in T minus 3 days!! Luckily, my brother is hanging out at home with the poochies while we are gone. Sophie is really going to miss Uncle Tyler when he moves to CA after we get back! I will too!
